Day 18 – post 2 (a call to prayer)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

If we believe this then we know all of this waring in the flesh isn’t the real battlefield, which means the real battle is being won or lost in prayer. We need your fervent prayers tonight. They had trouble putting in the catheter and they are now worried about blood clots. It’s been a hard day on the fleshly battlefield. Some might even say the enemy won this round. We refuse to give up. Mainly because God doesn’t give up on us and Justus is counting on us to continue in this fight.

Father-God – we know you love Justus even more than we do. Please touch his body tonight. I confess, I don’t get it. Why isn’t he already healed? God I trust you, but I’m also begging you for my grandson. Won’t you please fight for him tonight while he lay still? We join our voices as one tonight – God spare him. Give the doctors all they need to be successful. Give Justus exactly what he needs to safely come through this procedure. And carry Jason and Alyse tonight. You are the God of all comfort… tonight we need you. Amen

I start to feel badly about bringing you bad news again, but there is a sweetness to being at the end of our rope. Tonight I’m finding there isn’t any place else to go but into the loving arms of Jesus. So I choose to fully lean on Him. Tonight I’m scared for my grandson. So I choose to fully lean on Him. I would appreciate as many of you as possible engaging the enemy in the battle taking place tonight in the heavenly realm. I know I’m biased, he’s my grandson… but there is something going on with Justus. And God is inviting us into a bigger story. So I pray!!! Thank you in advance. In His Deep and Abiding Love…We love you ~
